Former government operative Bryan Mills is trying to rebuild a relationship with his teenage daughter when a trip to Paris turns into a nightmare. Liam Neeson is Bryan, listening helplessly over the phone as Maggie Grace’s Kim is abducted shortly after landing in France with a friend. With only a few clues and the skills from his past life, Bryan moves through Paris’s criminal underworld, tracking the gang of human traffickers who took her. The story stays close to his search, from strained family ties at home to the ruthless network he’s up against abroad.
