Incitement

Thriller123 min

As the Oslo Accords reshape Israeli politics in the mid-1990s, law student Yigal Amir becomes increasingly consumed by the belief that Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin has betrayed the country. Told through Amir’s viewpoint, the film traces how political rage, religious argument, and isolation feed his turn toward extremism in the lead-up to Rabin’s 1995 assassination. Yehuda Nahari Halevi leads the film’s tight focus on Amir, with Anat Ravnitzki among the people around him as his world narrows. The story stays close to campus debates, street protests, and the rhetoric that hardens into a justification for violence.
