I'm a Virgo

ComedyDramaFantasy29 min per episode

Hidden away for years because he stands 13 feet tall, a sheltered teenager finally steps into Oakland to see the world for himself. Cootie is thrilled by ordinary things he has only imagined from afar, but every outing turns his size into a spectacle and a problem. As he falls in with a group of young activists, workers, and artists, the city opens up into dating, friendship, and politics all at once. What starts as a late coming-of-age story keeps colliding with forces much bigger than one young man’s freedom: exploitation, public attention, and a superhero whose ideas about justice loom over the city. Jharrel Jerome stars in Boots Riley’s absurdist setup.
