Charlie Countryman

ActionAdventureComedyCrimeDramaRomanceThriller108 min

A vision from his late mother sends Charlie to Bucharest, where Shia LaBeouf’s impulsive American traveler falls hard for Gabi, a Romanian cellist played by Evan Rachel Wood. Their connection forms just as Gabi is dealing with her father’s death and the threat of a violent gangster, with Mads Mikkelsen looming as the man determined to keep hold of her. What begins as an abrupt trip turns into a run through Bucharest’s clubs, streets, and criminal underworld, as Charlie tries to stay close to Gabi while the danger around her starts closing in on him too.
