A Bigger Splash
DramaRomanceThriller125 min
On an Italian vacation, Marianne, a famous rock star, and her partner Paul are trying to keep to themselves when she invites an old lover and his teenage daughter to stay. Tilda Swinton is Marianne, with Paul (Matthias Schoenaerts) drawn into the strain; Ralph Fiennes’s Harry brings a flood of history into the villa, while Dakota Johnson’s Penelope unsettles the pair. Around the pool and under the sun, old rivalries, flirtation, and resentment build toward something dangerous.
