After a fall from grace in London and a stay in rehab, Sherlock Holmes lands in Manhattan, where his wealthy father assigns him a sober companion he immediately resents: Dr. Joan Watson. Jonny Lee Miller is a sharp, unruly Sherlock whose deductions make him invaluable to the NYPD, while Lucy Liu's Watson shifts from caretaker to investigative partner. Together they work the city’s toughest cases with Captain Thomas Gregson and Detective Marcus Bell, translating Holmes and Watson into present-day New York without losing the tension, intellect, and push-pull at the center of the pair.
