The Accountant

ActionAdventureCrimeDramaMysteryThriller128 min

Christian Wolff runs a small-town CPA office, but his real specialty is auditing the books of dangerous criminal clients. Ben Affleck is Christian, a math savant whose precise work and solitary habits make him hard to read even as the Treasury starts tracing his past. When he takes on a legitimate job at a robotics company, an in-house accountant, Dana (Anna Kendrick), has already flagged a multimillion-dollar discrepancy. As Christian follows the numbers, Ray King (J.K. Simmons) pushes his investigation closer, and a routine financial review turns into a trail of hidden accounts, hired violence, and exposed secrets.
