The Secret Agent
CrimeDramaMysteryThriller161 min
In 1977 Brazil, Wagner Moura is Marcelo, a technology expert on the run who heads to Recife during Carnival, hoping to reunite with his son and disappear into the crowds. Instead, the city proves tense and exposed, with surveillance, hidden loyalties, and the pressure of the dictatorship closing in around him. What begins as a refuge turns into a search for a way out, as Marcelo moves through packed streets, private fears, and a landscape where every contact could carry a secret.
