Newly appointed DCP Rita Ferreira takes charge while carrying old guilt she has never put to rest and fresh troubles that keep breaking through the surface. Her first major case is a string of murders with no easy pattern, forcing her to rebuild each victim’s last steps and chase links that may be hiding in plain sight. As the investigation tightens, the killer stays ahead, turning every lead into another dead end or another body. Rita’s job becomes more than solving a case: the hunt drags her back toward the fears and damage she has tried to contain, pushing her into a direct clash with a serial murderer who leaves little room for mistakes.
