Carol Danvers is a powerful but unsettled fighter when a war between alien races reaches 1995 Earth. Brie Larson is Carol, piecing together who she is as strange abilities, buried memories, and off-world threats converge around her. On the ground, Samuel L. Jackson’s younger Nick Fury becomes an unexpected ally, drawing the film into a buddy dynamic alongside the larger cosmic conflict. Moving between Los Angeles streets and interstellar battles, the story places Carol at the center of an escalating clash that turns her into one of the universe’s most formidable heroes.
