Odd Man Out

CrimeDramaThriller116 min

After a robbery goes wrong in Belfast, wounded IRA leader Johnny McQueen slips into the city as police conduct a door-to-door manhunt. James Mason is Johnny, an ex-con trying to stay ahead of the dragnet while injury and exhaustion leave him increasingly exposed. Moving through pubs, boarding houses, and crowded streets, he depends on strangers, old allies, and luck that keeps running thin. Kathleen Ryan threads through the same night as the woman searching for him first, while Robert Newton appears among the figures pulled into Johnny’s flight across a dark, watchful Belfast.
