The 100 Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared
ActionAdventureComedyDrama115 min
On the day he turns 100, Allan Karlsson slips out of his nursing home window and vanishes, trading his birthday celebration for an unexpected detour. Robert Gustafsson is Allan, a centenarian whose dry calm and practical streak suggest a much stranger past than the people around him realize. As his disappearance unfolds, the film threads the present-day getaway together with glimpses of the long, colorful life that got him there. Mia Skäringer is among the ensemble circling Allan's sudden exit, in a Swedish story that mixes deadpan humor, chance encounters, and a runaway old man who refuses to stay put.
