The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
CrimeDramaMysteryThriller152 min
After losing a libel case, journalist Mikael Blomkvist is hired by the aging head of a wealthy Swedish family to reopen the decades-old disappearance of a niece who vanished from the clan’s island estate. Michael Nyqvist is Blomkvist, a reporter working under public pressure, while Noomi Rapace’s Lisbeth Salander enters the investigation as a brilliant hacker with a fierce distrust of authority. As the two dig through the Vanger family’s history, the case moves from a private mystery into a darker record of secrecy, abuse, and violence inside one of Sweden’s most powerful households.
