Tom Baker lands a football coaching job at Northwestern and moves his family to Chicago, where a household of twelve children has to adjust all at once. Steve Martin is Tom, trying to balance a new team with life at home, while Bonnie Hunt’s Kate sees her own career shift into high gear with a book tour. With both parents pulled in different directions, the Bakers’ crowded house starts sliding into pranks, sibling clashes, and mounting disorder. Hilary Duff and Tom Welling are among the older kids caught in the upheaval as the family tries to keep itself together.
