The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad

AnimationComedyFamilyFantasyHorror68 min

J. Thaddeus Toad’s latest obsession, the motorcar, sends Toad Hall into one scrape after another as Mole, Rat, and Badger try to keep their reckless friend out of trouble. The film then shifts to a small New England town, where the gangly schoolmaster Ichabod Crane takes an interest in Katrina Van Tassel and draws the anger of rival suitor Brom Bones, whose ghost story about the Headless Horseman hangs over the courtship. Basil Rathbone narrates the Wind in the Willows half, while Bing Crosby carries the Sleepy Hollow story with songs and a lighter, slyly eerie touch.
