The Guns of Navarone

ActionAdventureDramaThrillerWar160 min

In the Aegean Sea during World War II, an Allied commando team is sent on a near-impossible mission: reach the island fortress of Navarone and destroy the massive German guns that make any rescue or naval approach suicidal. To get there, they have to slip past patrols, survive a brutal sea crossing, and climb terrain that is as dangerous as the enemy. Once ashore, the men face sabotage, injury, and growing distrust inside their own ranks as time runs out for the soldiers trapped within range of the guns. Gregory Peck and David Niven lead a mission built on stealth, nerve, and the question of whether the fortress can be breached at all.
