No One Gets Out Alive

DramaHorrorMysteryThriller87 min

Desperate for work and living without documentation, Cristina Rodlo is a woman from Mexico who lands in a rundown Cleveland boardinghouse while trying to build a life in the U.S. What begins as a cheap place to sleep turns hostile fast: the house is claustrophobic, the other tenants keep their distance, and strange cries and visions start breaking through the walls. As the building’s history closes in, the threat stops feeling imagined. Marc Menchaca is among the figures connected to the house, but the film stays tightly with Rodlo’s tenant as everyday precarity gives way to a locked-room supernatural nightmare.
