20 Days in Mariupol

DocumentaryWar97 min

As Russian forces close in on Mariupol, journalist Mstyslav Chernov and photographer Evgeniy Maloletka are among the last international reporters still inside the city, filming hospitals, shelters, and civilians caught under siege. Drawn from the first weeks of the invasion, the film follows their efforts to keep reporting as shelling intensifies and food, power, and safe passage disappear. Alongside the journalists’ footage, people in Mariupol come into view not as distant headlines but as neighbors, patients, parents, and survivors in a city being cut off from the outside world.
