The Place Beyond the Pines
CrimeDramaThriller140 min
Ryan Gosling is Luke, a motorcycle stunt rider on the carnival circuit in upstate New York who turns to bank robbery after learning he has a child to provide for. His crimes put him on a collision course with Avery (Bradley Cooper), a rookie cop whose split-second decision changes both men’s lives and opens a path into local politics. What begins with heists, getaways, and a bag of money stretches outward into police corruption, family fallout, and the way one violent act can echo across the next generation.
