Asterix at the Olympic Games
ActionAdventureComedyFamilyFantasy116 min
To help their friend Alafolix win Princess Irina’s hand, Asterix and Obelix head to ancient Greece and enter the Olympic Games. Clovis Cornillac is Asterix, the quick-thinking Gaul, with Gérard Depardieu’s larger-than-life Obelix at his side as they face a rival team led by Brutus. Benoît Poelvoorde’s Brutus isn’t just trying to rig the competition — he’s also looking for a way to remove his father, Julius Caesar, from power. Alain Delon appears as Caesar in a broad, joke-heavy adventure that brings the comic series’ Roman rivalries and athletic chaos into live action.
