Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

Comedy95 min

Will Ferrell is Ron Burgundy, the swaggering face of a San Diego TV news station in the 1970s, where his all-male team rules the broadcast and expects the status quo to hold. That changes when Christina Applegate's Veronica Corningstone joins the station, an ambitious reporter pushing for a place behind the anchor desk. Their rivalry turns the newsroom into a parade of bruised egos, on-air disasters, and dead-serious sexism played for absurdity. Adam McKay’s satire keeps the focus on local-news vanity and the station’s clueless culture, with Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, and David Koechner rounding out Ron’s equally overconfident crew.
