Those About to Die

ActionDrama57 min per episode

Ancient Rome’s gladiatorial games drive a sprawling story where blood sport, political ambition, and business all feed the same machine. Anthony Hopkins is among the figures at the top of the imperial world, while Iwan Rheon and Sara Martins move through a city built on spectacle, corruption, and public appetite. The series follows characters from different layers of Roman society as rival interests collide around the arenas, from those staging the contests to those risking everything inside them. Across palaces, streets, and stadiums, power is fought over as fiercely outside the games as it is within them.
