The Mule

CrimeDramaThriller117 min

Broke, alone, and staring down foreclosure, Earl Stone takes a job that seems simple: drive a pickup from one stop to the next. Clint Eastwood is Earl, a man in his eighties whose late-life side gig turns out to be work for a Mexican cartel, and whose success quickly puts him on bigger, riskier runs. On the other side, Bradley Cooper’s DEA agent Colin Bates starts tracking the mysterious new courier. Inspired by a true story, the film follows Earl as drug money eases his immediate troubles while law enforcement, cartel handlers, and his own past mistakes begin to close in.
