Samsara

Documentary102 min

Moving from temples, factories, deserts, and crowded city streets, this documentary assembles a global stream of images without narration or characters to guide it. Instead of following a single story, it sets rituals beside industry, natural landscapes beside mass consumption, and faces in contemplation beside scenes of labor and spectacle. The film keeps shifting across countries and environments, building meaning through contrast and repetition as everyday life, spiritual practice, and human-made systems mirror and challenge one another. Directed by Ron Fricke, it unfolds as a wordless meditation on how people live, work, worship, and transform the world around them.
