Big Beasts
Documentary30 min per episode
From the poles to tropical rainforests, this nature series follows some of the planet’s largest animals as they hunt, migrate, raise young, and survive the particular hazards that come with their size. Tom Hiddleston narrates a globe-spanning look at giants including the gray whale, elephant seal, giant otter, gorilla, hippo, brown bear, ostrich, orangutan, tiger, and polar bear. The focus stays on how these species move through very different environments, from icy coasts to dense jungle, where being enormous can be an advantage one moment and a burden the next.
