Shiv Shastri Balboa
132 min
After moving from India to the United States, retired Shiv Shastri expects a quieter life. Instead, the Rocky devotee is pushed into an unplanned road trip across the American heartland, where each stop brings fresh hassles, strangers, and reminders that he is far from home. What begins as a detour turns into a stretch of travel that tests his pride, his routines, and the way he sees his place in this new country. As miles pass, the trip becomes less about getting somewhere than about adjusting to change late in life and finding room to start over. Anupam Kher leads Shiv’s winding search for footing on unfamiliar ground.
