The Silence of the Lambs
CrimeDramaHorrorThriller119 min
Jodie Foster is Clarice Starling, a standout FBI trainee sent by behavioral chief Jack Crawford (Scott Glenn) to interview an incarcerated psychiatrist with a history of murder and cannibalism. Crawford hopes Anthony Hopkins's Dr. Hannibal Lecter can help identify a serial killer targeting women, but Clarice's visits quickly become a tense exchange of clues, probing questions, and psychological pressure. Jonathan Demme's film threads police procedure through claustrophobic jailhouse conversations, with Lecter's clinical calm and Clarice's determination shaping the hunt.
