Ten years after surviving a devastating earthquake, reporter and dog trainer Xu Lai returns to China and comes face to face with firefighter Jin Shichuan, the man who once rescued her and no longer remembers her. Their reunion starts with friction, but a run of emergency calls pushes them into building a search-and-rescue dog team together. William Chan and Zhang Ruonan lead the central pair as past ties begin to surface again, with the story moving between rescue work, professional clashes, and a relationship shaped by a disaster that changed both of their lives.
