Two Mules for Sister Sara

ActionAdventureDramaRomanceWarWestern116 min

During the French intervention in Mexico, a drifting American mercenary rescues a nun from a gang of attackers and agrees to escort her across dangerous country. Their uneasy partnership starts as a practical arrangement: he is heading toward a mission that may become a military target, and she insists on reaching the same place. As they travel, ambushes, shifting loyalties, and the constant threat of French patrols force them to rely on each other. The closer they get, the less simple Sister Sara seems, and the mission ahead turns from a private job into part of a larger fight. Clint Eastwood and Shirley MacLaine carry a story built on suspicion, danger, and a growing bond under fire.
