Love Lies Bleeding
CrimeDramaMysteryRomanceThriller104 min
In 1989, reclusive gym manager Lou falls hard for Jackie, a bodybuilder passing through town on her way to Las Vegas. Kristen Stewart is Lou, keeping to the margins until Katy O'Brian's Jackie brings desire and momentum into her small world. Their relationship collides with Lou's estranged family, especially her father (Ed Harris), a local businessman tied to violence and coverups. As ambition, abuse, and criminal loyalties start to close in, the film threads romance through sweaty gym culture, back-road noir, and sudden eruptions of brutality.
