Godfather of Harlem
CrimeDrama52 min per episode
In 1960s Harlem, crime boss Bumpy Johnson returns from prison to find the neighborhood he once controlled carved up by the Italian mob. He sets out to rebuild his power, reclaim his streets, and protect a community being squeezed by drugs, corrupt policing, and political neglect. As Bumpy pushes back against rival gangs and mafia families, every move pulls him deeper into a fight that runs from back-room deals to open violence. Forest Whitaker stars as a gangster trying to hold onto his empire while Harlem itself is changing, and the struggle around him reaches into the worlds of business, activism, and city politics.
