ActionAdventureCrimeDramaThriller140 min
Driven by his parents’ murder, billionaire heir Bruce Wayne leaves Gotham and returns with a plan to confront the corruption choking the city from outside the law. Christian Bale is the young Wayne as he trains under the enigmatic Ducard (Liam Neeson) and shapes a second identity meant to frighten Gotham’s criminal underworld. Christopher Nolan’s origin story moves from mountain training grounds to mobbed-up boardrooms and alleyways, with Michael Caine’s Alfred serving as Bruce’s closest ally at Wayne Manor.
