Police Academy
ComedyCrime97 min
When a new city policy throws open Police Academy admissions to anyone who applies, the incoming class is less a polished force than a jumble of misfits, eccentrics, and reluctant recruits. Steve Guttenberg is Mahoney, a fast-talking troublemaker who signs up as the alternative to jail and quickly lands on the wrong side of Lt. Harris (G.W. Bailey), an instructor determined to push him out. As the academy tries to whip its unlikely cadets into shape, Kim Cattrall appears among the new recruits navigating drills, discipline, and a training program that keeps tipping into chaos.
