Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade

After a young girl dies in a suicide bombing before his eyes, an officer in an elite paramilitary counter-terrorism unit is pulled from the field and sent for retraining. Yoshikazu Fujiki voices the shaken operative as his guilt and isolation leave him exposed to a struggle between rival police divisions maneuvering behind the scenes. When he becomes involved with the dead girl’s sister, Sumi Mutoh’s quiet, unreadable presence turns a personal connection into something much larger. In a dystopian political landscape shaped by surveillance, armor, and street unrest, the film threads state violence and conspiracy through imagery drawn from Little Red Riding Hood.
