The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

ActionAdventureSci-FiThriller146 min

After surviving the arena, Jennifer Lawrence is Katniss Everdeen, back in District 12 but hardly free. She and Josh Hutcherson’s Peeta Mellark are sent on a Victory Tour through Panem, where their defiant win has stirred unrest in the districts and put them under President Snow’s eye. Public ceremony turns into a pressure campaign as the Capitol tightens its grip, using spectacle, propaganda, and a special 75th Hunger Games to pull Katniss and Peeta back into danger. The story expands beyond the first film’s survival contest, showing a nation on edge and a Capitol determined to control what Katniss has come to represent.
