World Trade Center
DramaThriller129 min
On September 11, 2001, two Port Authority police officers head toward the World Trade Center to help with the evacuation and end up buried beneath the rubble when the towers fall. Nicolas Cage is one of the trapped officers, with Michael Peña beside him as the film stays close to their struggle to stay alive underground. Oliver Stone narrows the scope of the day to what they can hear, remember, and endure, while the rescue effort above them and the families waiting for news fill in the wider crisis.
