Superboys of Malegaon
ComedyDrama127 min
In Malegaon, where Bollywood screenings offer a break from daily drudgery, amateur filmmaker Nasir Shaikh decides to make a movie of his own for the town and with the town. Adarsh Gourav is Nasir, pulling friends, neighbors, and would-be actors into a shoestring production that turns everyday streets into sets. With Shashank Arora and Vineet Kumar Singh among the collaborators around him, the story follows the scramble to write, cast, shoot, and keep the project alive as a homemade film starts to reshape the rhythms of the town and the friendships behind it.
