Star Trek: First Contact

ActionAdventureDramaSci-FiThriller111 min

When the Borg launch an assault on Earth, Patrick Stewart is Captain Jean-Luc Picard, who defies orders and takes the newly commissioned Enterprise-E after them. The chase turns into a time-travel crisis when the cyborg enemy retreats to 21st-century Earth, aiming to alter the moment of humanity’s first contact and change Federation history. As Picard battles a threat he knows too well, Jonathan Frakes and Brent Spiner are among the Enterprise crew caught between a shipboard siege and a fragile point in the past. The setup folds Star Trek’s optimism into a darker fight against assimilation, obsession, and the machinery of the Borg.
