Hannah and Her Sisters

ComedyDrama107 min

Between two Thanksgiving dinners in New York, the seemingly orderly life of Hannah and her sisters begins to come apart. Mia Farrow is Hannah, a former actress who keeps the family running, while Michael Caine’s Elliot quietly falls for her sister Lee (Barbara Hershey). At the same time, Hannah’s hypochondriac ex-husband Mickey (Woody Allen), a television producer rattled by medical fears and existential panic, drifts back into the orbit of her other sister, Holly. Affairs, strained marriages, artistic frustration, and family rituals overlap as the sisters keep meeting around the same table, carrying years of rivalry, affection, and unfinished business.
