Three years after a zombie outbreak shatters the United States, a small band of survivors is given a dangerous cross-country mission: get Murphy, the only known person to survive a zombie bite, from New York to a lab in California. The trip means moving through ruined towns, makeshift camps, and constantly shifting pockets of danger, where the dead are only part of the problem. Murphy, played by Keith Allan, may hold the key to a vaccine, but he is also changing in unsettling ways. As the group pushes west, led in part by Roberta Warren and Citizen Z’s guidance from afar, every stop brings new threats, uneasy alliances, and hard choices about who can be trusted.
