Condemned ninja Gabimaru is given one way out: travel to a mysterious island and bring back the elixir of life. He is sent with executioner Yamada Asaemon Sagiri, whose job is to watch him and make sure the mission stays on course even as his will to survive keeps colliding with her sense of duty. On the island, they find more than a remote prize hunt. The place is filled with lethal creatures, strange forces, and other desperate convicts pursuing the same reward. What begins as a chance at pardon turns into a brutal survival race where every step toward the elixir demands blood, trust, and choices neither of them can avoid.
