After the 1972 Munich Olympics hostage crisis leaves 11 Israeli athletes dead, Israel sends a covert team to hunt down those linked to the attack. Eric Bana is Avner, the Mossad agent put in charge of the mission as it moves through safe houses, hotel rooms, and tense meetings in unfamiliar cities. With Daniel Craig as the team’s driver, plus Ciarán Hinds and Mathieu Kassovitz in a unit built for surveillance, forgery, and bombs, the operation depends on secrecy as much as force. Steven Spielberg follows the assignment as it widens into a hidden campaign shaped by intelligence work, political pressure, and the threat of retaliation.
