A Hero

Drama127 min

Amir Jadidi is Rahim, a man in prison over a debt he couldn’t repay. During a two-day leave, he tries to persuade his creditor to withdraw the complaint if he can return part of what he owes, but the plan slips out of his control and draws others into the dispute. Mohsen Tanabandeh and Sahar Goldoost are among the people around Rahim as a private financial crisis grows into something more public, with the film tracking how reputation, obligation, and small decisions start to press against each other in Iran.
