Red Rocket
ComedyDramaRomance130 min
After hitting bottom in Los Angeles, former porn star Mikey Saber heads back to Texas City and wedges himself into the home of the estranged wife and mother-in-law he left behind. Simon Rex is Mikey, a hustler who moves through apologies, schemes, and old resentments with the same restless confidence. As the household settles into an uneasy routine, his attention shifts to Suzanna Son's Strawberry, a doughnut-shop worker whose openness catches him off guard. Sean Baker frames Mikey's latest comeback attempt against strip malls, small houses, and the routines of a Gulf Coast town.
