The Bounty
ActionAdventureDramaRomanceWar132 min
In 1789, a voyage aboard the H.M.S. Bounty turns volatile when a stop in Tahiti leaves the crew reluctant to return to life at sea. Mel Gibson is Fletcher Christian, one of the men at the center of the growing split, while Anthony Hopkins’ Captain William Bligh keeps the ship on its course. Based on the historical mutiny, the film moves between the routines and discipline of a British sailing vessel and the island world that begins to pull the crew in another direction.
