Udta Punjab

ActionCrimeDrama149 min

In Punjab, a widening drug crisis pulls together four very different lives: a singer, a migrant laborer, a doctor, and a policeman. Shahid Kapoor is the celebrity drifting deeper into addiction, while Alia Bhatt's laborer runs into the trade from the opposite end. Kareena Kapoor's doctor sees the damage up close, and Diljit Dosanjh's policeman becomes part of the same web of drugs and law enforcement. As their paths begin to overlap, the film turns from individual stories into a picture of how narcotics, corruption, and fear spread through a state already under strain.
