A weekend trip turns into a standoff at an isolated gas station when a young couple and the armed criminals who carjack them run into a fast-spreading parasitic organism. Paulo Costanzo and Jill Wagner are the vacationers caught in the middle, with Shea Whigham as one of the desperate kidnappers. Cut off from help, the group is forced into an uneasy alliance as the infection moves from body to body, twisting its victims into something dangerous and hard to stop. Most of the action stays locked inside the station, where panic, injury, and suspicion keep tightening the pressure.
