Outbreak
ActionAdventureDramaSci-FiThriller129 min
When a deadly airborne virus reaches the United States, Army virologist Col. Sam Daniels races to contain an outbreak centered on a quarantined California town before panic and federal force make the crisis worse. Dustin Hoffman is Daniels, working against the clock as infections climb and the White House weighs an extreme response. Rene Russo and Morgan Freeman are among the figures pulled into the widening emergency, as medical research, military control, and public safety collide. Wolfgang Petersen frames the crisis from its origins in Zaire to hospital wards, command rooms, and a town cut off in the name of containment.
