Celtics City

DocumentarySport59 min per episode

From the Boston Celtics’ earliest seasons to their 18th NBA championship in 2023–24, this series traces how one franchise builds and rebuilds a basketball identity across decades. It follows the team through changing eras, rivalries, dynasties, setbacks, and returns to contention, showing how each generation reshapes what the Celtics mean in Boston and across the NBA. The story moves from the organization’s beginnings to the pressure of living up to a historic standard, where every new roster is measured against banners already hanging overhead. Along the way, the series connects championship runs and defining moments into a long view of how a team stays central to the league for so long.
