The Drop Box

The story

After an abandoned infant is left on his church steps one winter, a pastor in South Korea builds a small box into the wall so future babies can be left somewhere safe. The documentary follows his effort to create a refuge for children who might otherwise be abandoned, focusing on the church, the foundlings brought there, and the response to a crisis he can no longer ignore. Told in Korean, it stays close to the practical work behind the drop box and the people who arrive at its door.
